Barcelona’s Asian Choir

Casa Àsia and the the Barcelona City Council are promoting the creation of the Barcelona’s Asian Choir, a choir devoted to sing Asian music only and formed by people of different cultures. The ages of the members of the choir shall be between 18 and 45 years old and they are currently being recruited after the audition made in Barcelona last April 23rd, 2012. Rehearsal sessions will take place every Monday from 8:00 pm to 9;30 pm at the headquarters of Casa Àsia in Barcelona. Barcelona’s Asian Choir will be conducted by Carles Josep Comalada, present conductor of the female choir Actea, that also sings Chinese songs.
